Spaceship Entertainment presents the official video for “Duro Ni Be”; track eleven (11) off Burna Boy’s sophomore album -#OAS (On A Spaceship) – which was released late last year. The video was directed by Matt Max.
This is Burna Boy’s third video off the album. It comes after the release of his colourful last video for fan-favourite, Rizzla, two months ago. Duro Ni Be, another fan-favourite, features Phyno and takes a different creative approach from his last few videos.
The Duro Ni Be video brilliantly captures the mood, theme and message of the song from the start. Its scenes give the us-against-the-world vibe that are all over Burna’s lyrics – an aptly-dressed Burna is in the company of his crew – as he sings about his place in the industry and how he handles haters and enemies while briefly chronicling his music journey.
There are scenes from some of Burna’s sensational stage performances that show him savouring the adulation of large crowds singing along and dancing. There also stunts from drifting supercars and powerbikes. Complemented by the lively Phyno, Burna Boy is masterful and at his ebullient best in the video.
Since the release of #OAS, Burna Boy has shut down shows in different African cities. The album has also been getting massive airplay and fans have not stopped clamouring for more.
