AMVCA 2016 Nomination Announcement Holds Tomorrow

The Nomination announcement for the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2016 will hold tomorrow 11th December 2015 and will be broadcast live on all Africa Magic Channels.

As is the tradition, celebrities whose films have been entered for the competition will converge at a location, in every country, where the nomination broadcast will be screened amidst pomp and pageantry.
The event is being packaged by Africa Magic in association with MultiChoice and the headline sponsor, Amstel Malta.
Organisers say public voting will open immediately after the announcement and will close on February 26, 2016.
According to the Director, M-Net (West Africa) Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, over 2,500 entries were received for various categories of the Award.
“Everyone is undoubtedly excited and I urge viewers to tune in as we find out those who made the final cut,” says Mba-Uzoukwu.
Since the maiden edition in 2013, the AMVCA has celebrated the contributions of African filmmakers, actors and technicians to the success of the continent’s film and television industry.  With the fourth edition, which is scheduled to hold in March 2016, viewers can expect to see awards in categories ranging from acting, directing to scriptwriting and cinematography, to newly announced categories like the Best Movie for West Africa, Best Movie for East Africa, and Best Movie for Southern Africa.
